Allanite-(Ce), one of four minerals in the Allanite group, this specimen with the rare earth Cerium being dominate. This piece dates back to the early 1970’s as far as I can tell and comes from the Mary Kathleen Mine, Mount Isa – Cloncurry area, Queensland, Australia. [65x30x20mm]
