Pale purple crusts of petterdite (this is a rather large example for the species) surrounded by minor crocoite and philipsbornite from the Red Lead Mine, Dundas, Tasmania. The Red Lead mine is the type locality for both petterdite and philipsbornite. The field of view in this close-up is 85mm, and the specimen measures 150x85x45mm.
