Green crystals of Epidote associated with altered Cambrian “Murchison Granite” (red granite is visible in the first image). These were discovered in 1991 during hydro tunnelling work on the Anthony Headrace Tunnel near Tullah on the West Coast of Tasmania. Specimens were recovered from veins of Calcite which were discovered somewhere around the 1465m mark from the power station end of the tunnel. This specimen measures 210x125x55mm.
